1/4" Scale Bruce & Judy Steinke Do
you have a collection of items that are homeless? Then
this is the class for you. This shop can be turned into whatever
suits your fancy. Nestled inside a 4" x 4" glass dome on a turntable
base, the completed structure may be used for any miniature treasures. The
building is complete with wallpaper, interior trims, exterior trims and
landscaping for the flower box. Join Bruce and Judy for this 5th
in the 4” dome series. |

1/2" or 1/4" Scale Michelle Faleshock The inspiration for this
beautiful laser cut sun room was the Kirby House in Glen Summit, PA built in
1915. The sun room with its tile floor has
views of beautiful and romantic gardens. A laser cut bench is included and offers a comfortable perch to view the scenery. The
front view of the room box gives the appearance of a glass wall with lattice
tops and has a plexi front cover. The sides are also lattice
and feature French doors. The top is clear plexi for easy viewing. The wicker furniture and plants are not included. |

![]() President's Late Evening Snack 1/4" Scale Jan McCandliss The
White House kitchen has prepared a tray of food for the President who is
having a late night of meetings. The
tray contains a sandwich, tomato slice, carrot and celery sticks, a glass of
water, a cup of coffee and a platter of gingerbread for dessert. The
President won’t go hungry! Students
will use FIMO ™ and air-dry clay to make the foods, then assemble them
onto the provided tray. Additional plates, etc will be provided so
that other items can be completed during class time. |

Students will
dress a mannequin in a replica of the gown worn by Abigail Adams
The mannequin is set against a background picture of a White House
room in a plastic display box to provide a museum-like setting for
display purposes. The box will be large enough to add additional
mannequins if desired. |

Students
will create the front façade of a charming thatched English cottage.
Learning easy techniques for using insulation foam, wall-joint compound, synthetic
fur and Spanish moss participants will create stonework, rocks, stucco, thatching,
landscaping and more. The finished project can hang on a wall
or sit on a shelf. |

Students will
learn to make and electrify a “wrought iron” hanging
lighting fixture choosing a black or antique tin finish. This
chandelier is perfect for a country, Early American, or rustic setting.
Once painted or antiqued, the fixture will then be electrified. |

Snowlady Surprise Open this metal
box snowlady and begin to build a village inside. Students
will make a variety of houses and churches, place them on a snowy platform, and "snow" them to create the look and feel of the vintage buildings
of the 1940’s and the 1950’s cardboard decorations. A wide variety
of tiny Santas, snowmen and trees will be available to decorate the village. Snowlady
Surprise is 8”tall. The buildings and trees are ½ to 1 inch
tall. |

The President's Private Chambers With
a view of the oval office, this room is the perfect place for the
President to retreat for some peace and quiet. Participants will
learn to use custom designed graphics to create the illusion of a
fireplace, pictures and even a peek into the Oval Office. Finish the room with a bookcase, occasional table, tall
plant and a real brown leather chair that you make in class. As usual,
Luci will provide the fun drawings in the workshop. |

![]() In/Outdoor Wicker Furniture 1/4" or 1/2" Scale Charrita Teague Offered
in ¼" or ½" scale, this wicker furniture will
look great in any outdoor or indoor setting. Setting includes
a sofa, love seat, two chairs, two end tables and a cocktail table. Use
as a complete set or divide to use in various settings. Charrita
will provide a choice of fabrics or you may bring your own for the
cushions. |

1/4" Scale Suzanne Larson-Tamburo Before
John Zweifel created the White House in Minature, he was interested
in recreating famous rooms from the Lincoln White House. He
found a sketch by C.K. Stellwagon that showed Lincoln’s White
House office. This is where the Emancipation Proclamation was
signed. Recreated here are pieces of furniture from Lincoln’s
office. Students will build and finish the furniture. Students
will also create the mini book that serves as the display base for
the furniture pieces. Also included in the class are Lincoln’s
stove pipe top hat and the books and artwork required to fill the
desk and bookcase to create a complete vignette. |

![]() Safari Themed Room Box 1/4" Scale Karen Benson The
majestic view of Mount Kilimanjaro greets you as you look out the
French doors of your Safari Themed Room Box. After staining
and constructing the basic room box, you will build and finish the
unique laser cut corner fireplace, paper and paint the wall inserts,
add the French doors and transom window and add all the pieces to
the interior of the room box. If you have been one of Karen’s
students before, you know how quick and easy her room boxes are to
complete. |

Tying
the Knot Students
will decorate the inside of a 2" x 2" heart shaped box with old lace,
trim and silk flowers, dress two 1 ½ inch
kewpie dolls as a bride dressed in old lace, trim and flowers and a
groom in a black tuxedo. The bride and groom will be placed together on one side of the heart with a wedding certificate on the other side. |

A
clump of poppies makes a beautiful addition to any half or quarter
scale landscape. Learn to make and assemble a clump of poppies
in either scale. Included in the kit are materials to make
poppies, a plastic box to carry the project home, and step-by-step
illustrated instructions. The class includes lots of tips
for flower making. All skill levels but great for beginners. Bring
your basic tool kit, pointed tweezers and Susan will supply the
rest. |

![]() Miniaturist's Workshop 1/144th Scale Fran Sussman Enter this basement
workshop where the dollhouse maker has just stepped away from the
table saw! During class, students will construct
the room box, install shelves, build the table saw and table and make
at least one house. Final touches can be added by the students
after class. Materials for everything pictured will be provided,
and no 1/144th experience is needed! Students should bring magnification
and optional lighting suitable to working in 1/144th scale. This project
requires the usual tools/supplies (gluing jig, tweezers, small
brush, craft knife), and a list will be sent to students in advance. |
