Fabric Store in NYC
1/144th Scale
Fran Sussman

This 1/144th building is inspired (with permission) by the NYC designer fabric store, Rosen & Chadick.  Many of the fabrics you will use are fine silks from the actual store!  Students will construct and paint the store, assemble store furnishings and first floor window displays, light the first floor displays with LEDs, and make as many fabric bolts to install in shelves as time allows.  Materials for everything in the picture will be provided.  No 1/144th scale experience is necessary.  Lighting and magnification suitable to working in 1/144th scale would be helpful.  Project requires typical tools/supplies and a list will be sent to pre-registered students.
